The College Baseball Blog:

If the past is any indication, Nicholas will have no trouble with the transition. After spending his freshman year at Gonzaga University, Nicholas spent the summer playing first base for the West Coast League's Kelowna Falcons. He was named to the all-league first team after batting .312, good for 12th in the league, and leading the circuit with 15 doubles. He led the Falcons in doubles, hits (44), and RBI (24), and he was second on the team in runs scored (25). Nicholas set a new team record for doubles and helped lead Kelowna to its first playoff appearance since 2005.
