Steele, who both pitches and hits for Missouri, said he "loved" Zastryzny's Friday night outing. Still, he wasn't surprised to hear that Zastryzny felt otherwise, and it's part of why Steele respects him.

Segovia might have cost MU a run in the fifth after drawing a leadoff walk. With Kendall Keeton batting, a pitch bounced away from Auburn catcher Blake Austin, but Segovia stayed put. After Keeton struck out, Pearson singled to right field, but Segovia cruised into second rather than try for third. He was stranded at second.

"I think he's just a guy that's playing with very little confidence right now," MU Coach Tim Jamieson said, "and that shows up in every part of his game."...
