HI NOTES: Season Wrap-up, All-Star Voting

Tigers baseball salvaged so-so season with Big 12 title (Columbia Tribune)
Expectations were high as the Missouri baseball team entered the 2012 season. This was the team that would return to an NCAA regional for the first time since 2009.

Well, the Tigers did.

So why does it feel like there could have been more? How does a regional appearance feel anticlimactic?

It's because of that trophy. . .

Josh Hamilton, Rangers dominate All-Star voting (ESPN)
Ian Kinsler tops the second base voting at 1,447,171, with the Yankees' Robinson Cano (1,167,448) his closest competitor.
