■ And every college baesball tweeter is talking about Wake Forest baseball coach donates kidney to player
(USA Today)
With an undergraduate enrollment of fewer than 4,500 students, Wake Forest is one of the smallest schools to compete at the major college level. Wake's athletic department takes pride in the sense of family its modest size creates. That pride deepened Monday when baseball coach Tom Walter donated one of his kidneys to Demon Deacon freshman outfielder Kevin Jordan. Dr. Kenneth Newell, lead surgeon on the team that removed Walter's kidney, said both surgeries went "very well" and both are expected to make full recoveries.
