Gavin Stark, Lee's Summit, MO (by way of Fort Scott Community College, Fort Scott, KS)
- Stark struggled offensively in 2012 and will be likely competing with a couple of newcomers - transfer Keaton Steele and freshman Josh Lester - for the starting job at first base.

Kyle Barbeck, Blue Springs, MO (by way of Northeast Texas Community College, Pittsburg, TX)
- Barbeck didn't pitch much in 2012 and will be hoping to earn a more regular spot in the bullpen or as a starter in 2013

- Belfonte may get more starts in teh outfield in 2012 - if he can raise the consistency of his offense. He will have plenty of competition, though, for OF opening left by Blake Brown's departure.
- Belfonte has been frequently used a pinch runner
