They took the lead for good with a two-run fourth inning. Snider had an RBI double and later scored on a passed ball.

♦ Jayhawks having a tough year (Lubbock Online)
Instead of coming out of the gate strong and being ready for the Big 12, the Jayhawks have stumbled out to a 10-14 record and an 0-3 mark in league play after being swept at Baylor over the weekend. A lack of clutch hitting and the inability to hold a lead late in games have frustrated Price and the Jayhawks, who were picked to finish last in the nine-team Big 12 in the preseason.
“Baylor took us apart. I’m not going to sugarcoat it,” said Price, whose team was outscored 27-8 by the Bears, “They took us apart in every phase of the game. They knocked our pitchers around, we didn’t play well defensively which is something we’ve excelled at. They executed and put the pressure on us.”
