2010 Recruit: Jason Adam, RHP/3B

Jason Adam, RHP/3B
6'2", 195 lb, R/R
Blue Valley Northwest HS (Overland Park, KS)

Rumor has it that Jason Adam has made a verbal commitment ot Mizzou and intends to sign his Letter of Intent in November to play for the Tigers.

Area Code Games, August 9, 2009:

Right-hander Jason Adam (Blue Valley NW HS, Overland Park, Kan.) showed promise to go with his power 6-4, 225 frame. His fastball reached 90 and 91 and he pitched at 89-91 with a curveball at 74. He jammed Wilson (Harvard-Westlake, North Hollywood, Calif.) in the first inning, though Wilson was strong enough to get the ball to the warning track

August 7: Adam (Blue Valley NW HS, Overland Park Kan.), at 6-4, 225, has the frame to develop more power, but must develop his body and improve command and control. He does have good arm speed, so he’s got the basic tools. He was the only White Sox pitcher to touch 90 in this game.

  2. Jason is a solid, high character kid. There are two other guys at BVNW to keep an eye on. Brett Miller 6'4" SR has hit 91mph and Brett Bond 6'6" JR is a lefty with nasty curve.
