The Mizzou Baseball team has finalized its schedule for the 2009 Fall World Series. The annual best-of-five intersquad scrimmage will get underway on Monday, Oct. 12 at 3 p.m. The complete schedule is below.
Rosters for the series will be announced later.
All games are open to the public and free of charge.
2009 FALL WORLD SERIES
Game 1: Monday, Oct. 12, 3 p.m.
Game 2: Tuesday, Oct. 13, 6 p.m.
Game 3: Friday, Oct. 16, 6 p.m.
Game 4: Saturday, Oct. 17, 2 p.m.
Game 5: Sunday, Oct. 18, 1 p.m.

■ According to the North County Times, the San Diego Padres face major decisions on their 40-man roster:
Grady Fuson, the Padres' vice president of scouting and player development, listed 10 top minor leaguers who will be considered for protection. The list includes outfielders Chad Huffman, Mike Baxter and Cedric Hunter, first baseman Craig Cooper, right-handed pitchers Aaron Breit, Matt Buschmann, Nathan Culp (04-06), Stephen Faris, Will Inman and Craig Italiano, and left-hander Steve Garrison.
