Diamond Hogs Host Missouri For Mid-Week Series (4029tv.com)
After playing six of its last seven games away from home, the No. 18 Arkansas baseball team opens an eight-game homestand on Tuesday as it faces future Southeastern Conference foe Missouri in a two-game midweek series. The series opens on Tuesday at 6:35 p.m. and concludes on Wednesday at 3:05 p.m.

Both games of the midweek series will be available on RazorVision through ArkansasRazorbacks.com and on the Razorback Baseball Radio Network from IMG.

Sandwiching these midweek game between conference series means Arkansas Coach Dave Van Horn and Mizzou Coach Tim Jamieson – whose teams last met when Arkansas won the 2004 Fayetteville Regional en route to the College World Series – will be saving their frontline starting pitchers for the weekend.

Still, Arkansas has some good pitching primed for tonight and Wednesday.

Nolan Sanburn and freshman lefty Michael Gunn (10 scoreless innings so far and also a hitter whose pinch-hit, 10th-inning single knocked in the tie-breaking run of Sunday’s 3-1 over Florida) didn’t pitch last weekend. And junior lefty Trent Daniel of Bryant (three hitless innings last week versus Oral Roberts, but facing just one batter at Florida) likely will work tonight or Wednesday.
