As the Mizzou baseball transitions to the SEC for the 2012-13 academic year, the Mizzou department of athletics is busy giving Simmons Field at Taylor Stadium a makeover as the field is in the process of being resurfaced. Latitude Bermuda Grass(latitudebermudagrass.com)
Building on their success with Patriot Bermudagrass, Oklahoma State University has released its next generation of bermudagrass. LATITUDE has the same cold-hardiness as Patriot, but has a finer texture, is more dense, and is darker green. Studies have shown that it has more shear strength, resulting in fewer divots and less “tuff up”.
