Aaron Senne name Louisville Slugger All-American

Mizzou's Aaron Senne has been named to the Louisville Slugger All-America Third Team, which is selected by the staff Collegiate Baseball newspaper. Senne, who was the Big 12 Conference Co-Player of the Year, hit .400 with 16 home runs, 22 doubles and 59 RBI in 2010. His .400 average was second best in the Big 12 Conference.

Senne led the Tigers with 84 hits in 2010, which tied for the 10th best single season total in school history. His 22 doubles tied for fourth in the MU record books and his 16 home runs tied for seventh. He had a 17-game hitting streak at one point during the 2010 season.

Senne concluded his career at Mizzou as the school's all-time leader in career hits, doubles, extra-base hits and total bases. He is also in the top five on the MU career home runs, RBI, at-bats, slugging percentage and walks lists.

In addition to being named an All-American and the Big 12 Co-Player of the Year, Senne also earned his third-career selection to the Academic All-Conference First Team and was named to the Academic All-District Team.
