Mexico High School pitching standout Hunter Haynes has made his decision, opting for the Kansas City Royals over the Missouri Tigers when it came to pursuing a baseball career. Drafted Tuesday in the 13th round of the Major League Baseball Draft, the left-handed, recently-graduated Bulldog joined the ranks of 19 Kansas City selections signed through Friday. Haynes previously had signed a letter of intent to play college baseball with Mizzou.
